Among his many contributions to our state, he is a former New Mexico state government attorney with many years of service at the New Mexico Department of health. He also served as general council for the New Mexico Department of finance and administration. Ms. Kent-Guyer is a former senior advisor at the Oregon department of human resources and a former Oregon state representative. Since her two children were traumatized by a legal requirement that they testify in court in front of their abusive father, Eliza Sultan has been fighting to change New Mexico laws to allow greater protection and privacy for child witnesses. Indivisible SOS has been working with Eliza on this effort.
Dede Feldman is a former teacher and journalist who served as NM state senator from 1997-2012. She was the first women to represent the largely Hispanic North Valley of Albuquerque in the legislature where she became a champion of healthcare and democracy reforms, environmental and consumer protection, causes she still fights for. Attorney Cara Lynch is co-founder of Legislative Momentum, an organization that gives junior women legislators power and voice through employing collaborative leadership and teamwork models.
