Stephanie Feldman
I was born in Brooklyn, New York and like so many other families that started in NYC, we moved to Long Island. Upon graduation from college, I married my high school “sweetheart” and moved to New Jersey where I taught middle school science. Unfortunately, that marriage didn’t last and I
remarried my present husband, Larry, who also was a teacher. I taught high school biology on Long Island for 28 years.
While teaching I didn’t have time for volunteering but I certainly have made up for that once we moved to Santa Fe. In addition to being involved with Indivisible SOS, I volunteer at the Botanical Garden, La Fonda, Creativity for Peace (now called Tomorrow’s Women), and various groups in Aldea.
I was not involved in politics before I was introduced to SOS in 2017. This organization has given me a way of feeling that I’m doing something towards change.
