Estela Hernandez, Executive Director of Emerge New Mexico. Emerge New Mexico is the state's premier organization that recruits, trains and provides a powerful network to Democratic women and non-binary individuals who want to run for office. there are currently 41 Emerge alums running for office in New Mexico and 118 now serving in public office.

On Monday, September 14, 2026, our speaker will be NM Representative Eleanor Chavez. She will discuss her work on both the Health and Human Services Standing and Interim Committees and the Behavioral Health Interim Committee.
