Dimid Hayes and Carol Moholt, Blue CD2

June 22 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Dimid and Carol will discuss their current work for NM CD2 downballot candidates in the upcoming midterm election.

Dimid Hayes has lived in New Mexico for 44 years and still considers himself a local-wanna-be.
He founded Sierra County Indivisible in 2017 and has been involved in several statewide initiatives since then: New Mexico Indivisible Congress, BLUE CD 2 NM, New Mexico Indivisible Young Artists Fellowship and most recently Rural Indivisible New Mexico. This will be his third presentation to SOS.

Carol Moholt: With a background in psychology I spent the majority of my career in user design, sales skill and product training at Apple Computer, taking an early retirement after the roll out of the iPhone and iPad. From there I moved from a board position on a horticultural/environmental nonprofit to run it as executive director. In 2020 we retired here from our lifelong home in the San Francisco Bay area. I was active in progressive politics throughout my adult life, managing campaigns for others and also serving years on a city’s planning commission. Here I jumped into politics when a new friend met at the local dog park ran for Senate District 26. I also started writing post cards for BlueCD2 New Mexico about the same time and gradually increased my volunteer activities with this great group of dedicated folks with extraordinary skills and experiences. It’s one of the most uniquely organized groups I’ve ever been a part of, and it continually amazes me what we accomplish.
